AnonyNews is the News server you've been waiting for.

Simple to use.

It operates as a single newsroom on a network, so users do not need to configure the client. It uses threaded messages so you can see who replied to what, and is designed to allow completely anonymous posting.

It's main use is envisaged within the Local Area Network of a specific company. Suggestions can be posted anonymously, or responses to new ideas collected without fear of reprisals.

The server runs on a central machine, the clients run on workstations-Windows, Linux or anything that has Java installed.

The client can connect through a LAN, WAN or dial up connection, without any extra configuration. All you need to know is the name and IP address of the server.
